Program emphasis

Fruit Quality and Postharvest biology

1) Elucidation of the mechanisms underlying postharvest biology to extend shelf-life of citrus and enhance the fruit quality;

2) Development of the methods e.g., sweating, heat, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, γ-aminobutyric acid, salicylic acid, and 2,4-epibrassinolide to extend shelf-life of citrus;

3) Development of wax liquid formula for citrus; design refrigeration house and ventilation house for citrus long-term storage; provide technical supports and consultation to citrus production areas and company and government.
